Sue Revell and Sherry Bevan talk about being on the tipping point of success. We share what drives us, what inspires us, our learnings and challenges in our work as leadership coaches.

Why ‘On The Tipping Point’? Because we regularly work with clients who tell us that they are ‘so close’, they can feel or smell success – or maybe even touch it. We’ve been there too! The more we thought about it, the more we realised there is a tipping point in every big decision and every big leap. So let’s find out more about what it takes to go beyond!

Where or how have you felt most alive this week?

Sue’s been taking new VIP clients through the ‘I Gotta Be Me’ intensive coaching experience and has been inspired by each client bringing the very best of themselves into the coaching and also their commitment to their personal and business growth in the year ahead.

Sherry has signed up to a 26 mile hike across the South Downs in July and has been inspired not only by registering for the main event but by her first training session in the pitch black! (01.50 – 06.10)

How have you been challenged?

This week we talk about the power of taking action. We explore why taking action is important, the distinction between being and doing in business, and the differences between taking consistent steps and making inspired leaps.

Whilst consistency, motivation and momentum are important factors in moving our business forward, it is also critical that the actions we take are focussed and in line with the strategic direction we want to move in. We share how we do this, who/what has helped us along the way and what we do when we get stuck. (06.11 – 29.15)        

So where are you building momentum right now?

As we keep saying, momentum is critical in getting past the Tipping Point. Sue’s been through a mini re-brand following the virtual conference in December and she’s really on a mission to explore ‘Mission Unstoppable’ and how she can support clients with discovery, design, development and delivery of their mission.

Sherry’s excited about her new Career Confidence Membership Hub which is currently in development to make her career development resources openly available and more accessible to support a much broader audience online. (29.16 – 36.22)

How have you been inspired this week?

Sue’s been overwhelmed by the response to a single tweet looking for guests for a new podcast series where she will be interviewing inspiring ‘mission makers’  - people who are on a mission to make a difference in some way.

Sherry’s been inspired by one of our guests from On The Tipping Point LIVE! Suzanne Dibble is a business leader who really knows how to take action and has taken the implementation of GDPR by the horns by establishing a Facebook community for small business owners which has grown exponentially due to the quality & clarity of advice, information and reassurance being released on a daily basis. (36.22 – 41.55)

Sue concludes with a quote from Mark Twain:

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the things you did. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbour, catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.  

Sherry reflects on the discussion and notices how exciting she finds taking action and how constantly complexed she can be by those who don’t take action.  How wonderful we are all different!
